Lesson: 18 - Editing operations in videos - level I.

Purpose: Learn how to cut, move, trim, split, delete visual gaps, create a duplicate copy of a video, undo and redo.

Materials Required

Laptop, Internet connection, online clipchamp software, e-mail id with password.

Prior knowledge

Students should be familiar with downloading images and videos.

Exercises

1. Students use the cut option in clipchamp to cut and move a part of a video.

Teacher's Instruction
  1. While the students learn, the teacher should observe whether they articulate the words like split, cut and move, trim, delete, add to timeline, delete visual gaps, and become familiar with these terms.
  2. Guidance should be given for the students for every exercise and allow them to share in their peer group.
  3. Ask the students to find out the various ways to split and share among them.
  4. Tell them to remember to keep the timeline where they want to edit.
  5. Tell them to analyze the difference between delete this gap, delete all visual gaps.
  6. Ask them to find out the various ways to create a duplicate copy of a part of a video.
